Hi, I came across this site and thought maybe some of you would like to read the novel I am presently working on. The title is "I Thought She'd Be Prettier" and you can find it by going to: writeupmyalley.blogspot.com
I Thought She'd Be Prettier is being written in a Diary type form and it is the story of one woman’s personal “Holocaust” and how she uses her journal as her best friend. It is the epitome of all the things we were ever taught about trusting your intuition and a typical futile attempt of a husband trying to cover up his infidelity. Hang on tight, it’s a roller coaster ride filled with many emotions and throughout the journey, you will feel her anger and even laugh along with her humor. But most of all, you will share in her tear’s as she desperately try’s to save her marriage. You will be on the edge of your seat when her desperate attempt to get to the truth leads her to becoming her own detective ... to when she nervously confronts her husband’s paramour and then in the midst of it all the insanity, the “other woman’s” husband returns … So I hope you enjoy reading along as I write it and maybe you'll just keep coming back for more!
